It is the best time of year; college football season is finally upon us!
With the season getting back into full swing this Saturday, we know it can be difficult to pick out games to attend when there are literally hundreds to choose from. So, we have taken the time to find the best games that will be worth your while!

No. 21 Central Florida vs UCONN (Rentschler Field, East Hartford, Connecticut) – 7 p.m. ETC
Where to watch: ESPNU
After going into the off-season undefeated and with a chip on their shoulder, UCF will come into this game looking to make a statement. After returning the core of their star-studded offense, they are poised to make another run this season. But, will having a first-year head coach stand in their way? This game against UCONN will be a good gauge of where they are headed.

No. 6 Washington vs No. 9 Auburn (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia) – 3:30 p.m. ET
Where to watch: ABC
This has the makings to be the best match of opening weekend. Washington comes into this matchup with experience on their side, including at quarterback where fourth year starter Jake Browning will run the show. Auburn has lost some key offensive components, they look virtually the same on the defensive side of the ball. Don’t be surprised if this game decides the fate of either team come college football playoff time.
No. 14 Michigan vs No. 12 Notre Dame (Notre Dame Stadium, South Bend, Indiana) – 7:30 p.m. ET
Where to watch: NBC
The Big Ten conference is so competitive that it leaves little room for error on the football field. In this clash between division rivals you can expect an electrifying atmosphere and all-out battle between the two teams. Both teams are dealing with tons of turnover after losing talent to the NFL, but whoever comes out victorious will be a direct threat to Ohio state for the crown.
No. 1 Alabama vs Louisville (Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Florida) – 8 p.m. ET
Where to watch: ABC
This game would have a lot more intrigue if Heisman trophy winning quarterback Lamar Jackson had stuck around another year. However, Alabama comes into this game as the reigning national champs so naturally they are going to have a target on their back. The Cardinals will have their hands full regardless of who suites up at quarterback for the Tide.

No. 19 Florida State vs. No. 20 Virginia Tech (Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, Florida) – 8 p.m. ET
Where to watch: ESPN
Florida State is traditionally a powerhouse program and their last season couldn’t have ended more in disappointment. Coming into this season with a brand-new head coach and swagger, look for the Seminoles to play a competitive game. The Hokies are not getting tons of national love by the media, so I am sure they would love to play spoiler to new head coach Willie Targgart and the ‘Noles.
