MLB.com columnist Anthony Castrovince provides details on the “MLB at Field of Dreams presented by GEICO.” It will be the first professional baseball game in the state of Iowa. MLB will construct a 8,000 seat stadium near the famous corn stalks. MLB will model the field on the White Sox’s old stadium Comiskey Park (1910-1990.)
“If you build it, they will come.” That memorable movie line has brought thousands of baseball fans to the Field of Dreams movie site. And now, thousands more will descend on the famous site.
