Sports museums are a portal to the history of the games, experiences and athletics we love. They add to our appreciation of a sport or an athlete by making history come alive. And, through exciting exhibits and educational opportunities, they provide unique insights that can’t be obtained elsewhere.
Sports Salsa exists to help travelling sports fans. Consequently, we’ve compiled a list of sports museums for your consideration. Further, we’ve put their locations in to Google Maps to help you find institutions no matter where you are.
Soon, we will be featuring some of these institutions through articles, podcasts and other means.
Most of these institutions are members of the International Sports Heritage Foundation (ISHA). ISHA assists sport museums and halls of fame to develop, operate and promote their facilities. Sports Salsa supports ISHA and encourages all sports museums to take advantage of their services.
Soon, we will be featuring some of these institutions through articles, podcasts and other means. Here’s what we have so far.
