Women’s Soccer Championship 2018 Play

The U.S. Women's Soccer team is playing now for a spot in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. Fans can see the team up close this month, as well as the nation's top Under-17 team.

Key developments in women’s U.S. Soccer are taking place and fans can get an close-up preview.

The 2018 Concacaf Women’s Championships are currently taking place, with the U.S. women’s team–competing for a spot in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup–taking on Panama and Trinidad and Tobago in two games remaining at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. The team already defeated Mexico 6-0 earlier this week.

Group B matches between Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba and Jamaica are taking place at H-E-B Park in Edinburg, TX.

The top two teams in Group A and Group B will play Oct. 14-17 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. FOX Sports will show the Concacaf Women’s Championship across the FOX Sports family of networks. Matches can be streamed live via FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports app.

Also, the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will gather in Florida for a final tournament before the roster is selected for the 2017 FIFA Women’s World Cup takes place in Uruguay from Nov. 13-Dec. 1. The USA will host the 2018 U.S. Soccer U-17 Women’s Invitational at the Premier Sports Complex in Lakewood Ranch, FL, welcoming the U-17 Women’s National Teams from Mexico, England and Colombia for a round-robin tournament featuring doubleheaders on Oct. 10, 12 and 14.

According to a press release from U.S. Soccer, the USA will begin its FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on Nov. 14 against Cameroon and will face 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup champion Korea DPR on Nov. 17 before finishing group play against Germany on Nov. 21.
